Lisa MaroneyLisa grew up in Northern Virginia where she studied under three National Symphony members. Majoring in music at Mary Washington College, she earned her degree in music performance and certificate in music education. Since that time, she has stayed very active in the local musical community by participating in various ensembles, teaching, and conducting. For fifteen years, she was the principal violist of the Rappahannock Pops orchestra and was also the associate concertmaster of the UMW Philharmonic. Currently, she is a violist in the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra, and a violinist in the TRBC orchestra.
