Instruments
At Bella Musica Studio, lessons are offered in the following instruments:
ViolinThe violin is the smallest of the strings family. It is known for beautiful melodies, exciting high notes, great expression, and virtuosity. It is well suited to many styles of music, and is said to most closely resemble the human voice. Because of its small size, it is the most manageable of the string instruments for younger players.

ViolaViolas are a type of big brother to the violin. They are a little longer and wider than the violin, and have a deeper, more mellow voice. They can be likened to alto singers, and are a good alternative for those who like a deeper sound but prefer to not have the expense and bulk of a very large instrument.
Cello
A still larger stringed instrument, cellos have a full, deep, and resonant tone. Because of their size, they are supported from underneath and played in a sitting position. At Bella Musica Studio, we offer lessons at a beginning and early intermediate level for this instrument.
PianoPiano is very valuable as both a solo and accompaniment instrument. In addition to being a very satisfying and enjoyable instrument to play, learning to play the piano provides a great foundation for learning other instruments. For beginners, piano is very rewarding because the nature of the instrument allows them to easily play in tune from the very first day!
